You may remember the story of a Trapped ‘Pest’ – Sub-adult long-tailed macaque from last month? This young female macaque had a ruff start to life after almost being killed as a perceived ‘pest’. She arrived at WFFT last month with some severe injuries to her abdominal area after being captured from the wild. After a few weeks of treatment at the WFFT Wildlife Hospital, today she returned back to the wild. We took her to a protected mountainous forested area not to far from the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Centre and returned her to where she belongs. Run free little one, and stay far away from trouble.
