"Hedwig" an Asian barred owlet (Taenioglaux cuculoides) was found by the side of a busy road after being hit by a car. Luckily a concerned local found it and contacted WFFT for help.

Volunteers Harvesting Fresh Water Mussels

At WFFT, collecting fresh water mussels from the WFFT lake is a fun task for volunteers. We harvest the mussels once a month to make sure we do not reduce the wild population.

‘Pu Yai Fai’ a male Asiatic golden cat (Catopuma temminckii) was illegally poached from the wild and spent the first two years of his life in a tiny cage. His owner decided to contact us and ask if we could give Pu Yai Fai a better future.
