หลังจากที่ ‘ ถุงเงิน ‘ ค่างแว่น(ถิ่นใต้)ตัวเมีย อยู่ในบริเวณกักกันเเละได้รับการตรวจสุขภาพอย่างใกล้ชิดจากทีมสัตวเเพทย์เป็นเวลา2เดือนเต็มๆ ตอนนี้ก็ถึงเวลาที่ ’ ถุงเงิน ‘ พร้อมที่จะได้ออกไปเจอเพื่อนใหม่เเล้ว
ทางทีมสัตวเเพทย์ได้นำ ’ ถุงเงิน ‘ มาอยู่บ้านใหม่ติดกับลิงค่าง 3 ตัวที่เราหวังจะรวมเข้าด้วยกันในอนาคต ขั้นตอนต่อไปเราจะค่อยๆเริ่มทำให้พวกเขารู้จักกันมากขึ้น การที่จะรวมสัตว์ที่อยู่ตัวเดียวมานานมาอยู่ร่วมกับตัวอื่นๆเป็นกระบวนการที่ใช้เวลาค่อนข้างนาน
เเต่จากการสังเกตุจากทีมสัตวเเพทย์ชี้ให้เราเห็นว่า ‘ ถุงเงิน ‘ ได้ แสดงความสนใจต่อเพื่อนบ้านใหม่ของเธอเอามากๆ เราหวังว่าอีกไม่นานจะสามารถรวมพวกเขาให้อยู่ด้วยกันได้

After spending 2 months adjusting to her new life and a new diet ‘Tung-Nguen‘ a female Dusky Langur has been moved out of WFFT’s Quarantine Area and placed next to an existing troop of langurs with the hope of them becoming friends.
The WFFT Vet Team transferred Tung-Nguen to the new enclosure next to three other rescued Langurs. Re-introducing rescued animals to their own species can be a long process, especially when they have spent many years in solitary confinement.
Initial observations indicate that Tung-Nguen is very interested in her new neighbours. Fingers crossed she can start behaving like a monkey once again.
