คำแถลงการณ์จากมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า เรื่อง ลิงแสม “มะลิ” • เมื่อวันที่ 20 มกราคม 2561 ทางมูลนิธิได้รับการติดต่อจากเจ้าของลิงว่า มีสัตว์ป่าคุ้มครองชนิด ลิงแสม เพศเมีย ชื่อ มะลิ อายุ 3 ปี ต้องการมอบให้ทางมูลนิธิรับมาดูแล เนื่องจากลิงเริ่มมีอาการดุร้ายและกัดเจ้าของ บางครั้งมีอาการซึมเศร้า และเกรงว่ามะลิจะทำร้ายคนอื่นอีก อีกทั้งต้องการให้มะลิมีเพื่อน และมีความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้น • ทีมสัตวแพทย์ของทางมูลนิธิจึงเดินทางเข้าไปรับลิง ในวันที่ 21 มกราคม 2561 พบลิงแสมเพศเมีย รูปร่างอ้วน มีอาการเครียด ถูกล่ามเชือกไว้บริเวณเอวผูกกับต้นไม้ เจ้าของให้ข้อมูลว่า ได้ซื้อมะลิมาเมื่อ 3 ปีที่แล้ว โดยปกติมะลิจะถูกล่ามเชือกไว้ที่หน้าบ้านตอนกลางวัน ในเวลากลางคืนจะนำมะลิเข้าไปนอนในบ้านด้วยกัน และเคยฉีดยาคุมให้มะลิ 2 ครั้ง เพื่อลดความก้าวร้าว • เจ้าของได้เดินทางมาส่งมะลิด้วยกับทีมสัตวแพทย์ในวันนั้น มะลิถูกจัดอยู่ในกรง ในโซนเขตกักโรคเป็นเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ก่อน…

รับสมัครผู้ช่วยหัวหน้า ประสานงานอาสาสมัครช่วยเหลือช้าง มูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า เรากำลังมองหาคนที่มีความสนใจ เพื่อเข้าร่วมทีมดูแลอาสาสมัครช่วยเหลือช้างที่มูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า ซึ่งมีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบในการประสานงานระหว่างอาสาสมัครในแต่ละวัน รวมถึงการดูแลช้างทั้งหมดที่มูลนิธิได้ช่วยเหลือมา ศูนย์ช่วยเหลือช้างมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า มีช้างที่อยู่ในความดูแลทั้งหมด 18 เชือก อายุของช้างอยู่ในช่วงตั้งแต่ 2-65 ปี คุณสมบัติ : (สำหรับคนไทย) – สามารถเริ่มงานได้ทันที – ช่วงทดลองงาน 6 เดือน – เคยมีประสบการณ์การทำงานด้านการประสานงาน – สามารถทำงานร่วมกับทีมได้ดี – สามารถทำงานในสภาวะความกดดันได้ดี – เคยมีประสบการณ์การทำงานอาสาสมัครหรือการทำงานกับการช่วยเหลือสัตว์ป่าโดยเฉพาะช้าง – มีความรัก และมีความสนใจด้านการอนุรักษ์สัตว์ป่า – สามารถใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในการสื่อสารได้เป็นอย่างดี จะมีการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ สวัสดิการ: – สัญญาการทำงานเบื้องต้น 6 เดือน – ทำงานสัปดาห์ละ 6 วัน มีวันหยุด 1 วัน –…
