Update – Brahminy Kite

มันเป็นเวลาหนึ่งเดือนเต็มๆหลังจากที่เจ้า” วิงกี้ “เหยี่ยวเเดงได้พักฟื้นอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาลสัตว์ป่า WFFT หลังจากที่ถูกตัดปีกบางส่วนออกเพราะถูกรถชน เเละเเล้วก็ถึงเวลาที่เจ้าเหยี่ยวเเดงจะได้ไปอยู่บ้านหลังใหม่เเละเจอเพื่อนสายพันธุ์เดียวกันของเธอเเล้ว

ทางทีมสัตวเเพทย์ได้ย้ายเธอมาอยู่บ้านหลังใหม่คู่กับเหยี่ยวเเดงอีก3ตัวที่เราได้ช่วยไว้ก่อนหน้านี้เเละ หลังจากสังเกตุการณ์ ทางทีมสัตวเเพทย์ได้บอกกับเราว่าพวกมันดูสนใจกันเป็นอย่างมากเเละเข้ากันได้อย่างดี

WFFT เป็นบ้านหลังใหม่สำหรับสัตว์หลายๆชนิดที่ไม่สามารถกลับไปอาศัยอยู่ในป่าได้อีกต่อไป เราพยายามจัดสภาพแวดล้อมที่เหมือนธรรมชาติมากที่สุดให้พวกเขาเท่าที่จะทำได้

It has been a month since ‘Wingy” the Brahminy kite arrived at the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Hospital for emergency treatment after being hit by a car. Part of her wing had to be amputated so she spent a few weeks recovering. A few days ago it was time for her to move to a new home to join her new friends.

We transferred her to a new enclosure to introduce her to other rescued Brahminy kites. After a day of close observations she settled in well with the 3 other kites.

WFFT provides permanent refuge for many animals that can no longer live in the wild, providing them with stimulating environments with conspecifics.
