Desperate barn owl in need of help

New arrival: barn owl

Sadly, she may not be able to go back to the wild.

Some kind locals found this injured owl and brought her to us. She was in a terrible condition – malnourished, dehydrated and has a severely infected wound on her right wing, most likely from being attacked by another animal, such as a cat. We named her Seksek.

The wings are not fractured, but the infection is very bad and there is little muscle left due to the spread of the infection. We will do what we can for her and try and heal her, but if the medicine and treatment does not work, we may have to amputate the wing.

We never know what animal will come through our doors, from one day to the next, it is only because of our donors that we can help animals like Seksek. Please give a little if you can.
