New Arrival at WFFT: Ling, the Slow Loris

A few days ago, our vet team received a 2–3-year-old Bengal slow loris who had been kept in a home. We don’t know his full story or how he ended up there, but we do know he needed a better life.

Slow lorises are wild animals and cannot thrive in captive conditions. Keeping them as pets is not only cruel but also illegal. Ling showed signs of stress and aggression, which is common in lorises taken from the wild or kept in homes.

Ling has had a thorough health check and is now staying at our wildlife hospital. He will rely on the kindness of animal lovers like you to receive the sanctuary care he needs.
