Every day, orphaned, injured, and abused animals rely on urgent veterinary treatment at our sanctuary. Many are rescued from horrific conditions including the exotic pet trade and poor quality zoos. Some will need lifelong sanctuary. The majority are rehabilitated and returned to the wild, where they can live freely again.

As rescue numbers grow and the variety of species we care for expands, our existing wildlife hospital can no longer keep up.

How You Can Help

We’re appealing for donations to fund life-saving medical supplies and equipment needed to open our new hospital. Here’s what your gift can help buy:

• €10 Can pay for essentials eg syringes, needles
• €30 Can help pay for surgical instruments
• €50 Can help fund cabinets to store medicines
• €100 Can help purchase lab testing equipment
• €250 Can purchase a surgical lamp
• €500 Can pay for a surgical scrub sink or fridge
• €1,000 Can help furnish a life-saving surgery room

Donate €500 or more and your name will be honoured on a plaque at the hospital entrance – a lasting tribute to your compassion and commitment to wildlife.

Our Current Hospital Is Over 20 Years Old

WFFT has changed so much over the past two decades. We’ve rescued thousands of animals, taken in new species like big cats, and dramatically expanded our capacity to care for wildlife in desperate need.

Our current hospital was never designed to meet today’s demands. From bears to gibbons and tigers, more and more animals require specialist treatment and ongoing medical care.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends Monique and Arend, a brand-new wildlife hospital building is almost complete. But to open its doors, we urgently need to equip it – with essentials like cupboards for medicines, sinks, and storage units, along with basic supplies such as syringes and diagnostic tools.
