HELP NEEDED – Laser Therapy for our Rescued Animals

(Scroll down for English) เครื่องเลเซอร์บำบัดเพื่อสัตว์ของเรา “ยุ้ย” ลิงกังเหนือวัยชรา เกิดมีก้อนเนื้องอกขึ้นที่มดลูกของเธอ มันทำให้เธอรู้สึกไม่ค่อยสบายตัวนัก และจำเป็นที่จะต้องตัดออก ทำให้ยุ้ยเหลือบาดแผลขนาดใหญ่เอาไว้ซึ่งจะต้องทำความสะอาดบาดแผลสม่ำเสมอทุกวัน แต่โชคดีของยุ้ยที่เราได้ใช้เครื่องเลเซอร์บำบัดแบบสาธิตในช่วงเวลานี้ เพื่อช่วยทำให้แผลดีขึ้น แต่น่าเสียดายที่ว่าเครื่องนี้จะอยู่ให้เราใช้งานได้ในช่วงระยะเวลาสั้นๆเท่านั้น หากแต่เราได้เห็นประสิทธิภาพ และการเพิ่มศักยภาพในการรักษาให้สูงขึ้นเป็นอย่างมากจากการใช้เครื่องเลเซอร์บำบัดนี้ เราจึงตัดสินใจเช่าเครื่องนี้มาใช้ประโยชน์เพิ่มอีกหนึ่งเดือนเท่านั้น เพราะเรามีข้อจำกัดเรื่องงบประมาณเกินกว่าที่จะดำเนินการซื้อมาประจำการถาวรได้ ด้วยค่าเช่าในอัตรา 30,000 บาท (1,000 เหรียญสหรัฐ) ต่อเดือน หรือ ราคา 1.25 ล้านบาท (42,000 เหรียญสหรัฐ) ในกรณีสั่งซื้อ อย่างไรก็ตามเรายังคงต้องการเช่าเครื่องเลเซอร์บำบัดนี้ จนกว่าที่เราจะมีความสามารถจัดซื้อมาอย่างถาวรได้ เรายังมีสัตว์ชนิดต่างๆ ที่อยู่ในความดูแลของเรา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นช้าง และสัตว์ป่าอื่นๆ ที่จะได้รับประโยชน์จากเทคโนโลยีเลเซอร์บำบัดนี้ และแน่นอนว่า หากเรามีสัตว์ที่เจ็บป่วยในอนาคตก็จะสามารถได้รับประโยชน์จากเทคโนโลยีนี้เช่นกัน การรักษาด้วยเลเซอร์บำบัดเป็นวิธีที่ดีเยี่ยมที่จะบรรเทาความเจ็บปวด ลดอาการอักเสบ และเร่งกระบวนการรักษาให้เร็วยิ่งขึ้นได้ หากท่านสามารถช่วยให้เครื่องเลเซอร์บำบัดนี้อยู่กับเราได้ยาวนานยิ่งขึ้น หรือช่วยให้เราได้มีโอกาสซื้อมาประจำแบบถาวร ได้โปรดให้ความกรุณาติดต่อเรา ได้ที่ info@wfft.org หรือบริจาคโดยตรง ได้ที่ www.wfft.org/donate/. โดยท่านสามารถแจ้งความจำนงให้การสนับสนุนเครื่องเลเซอร์บำบัดได้ เราขอแสดงความขอบคุณอีกครั้งสำหรับผู้ที่ให้การสนับสนุนและมีอุปการะคุณทุกท่าน

Yui the elderly Northern pig-tailed macaque had a large mass growing on her uterus, it was causing a lot of discomfort. The mass had to be removed; the incision to remove this mass left a large wound, which needs cleaning every day. We have been lucky to have a demo Laser Therapy Machine during this time to help her wound heal. However the machine was only here for a short period of time. Due to the vast improvements have seen using this machine we have rented it for one more month as its currently far out of our budget to purchase it. It costs 30,000 THB (1000 USD) per month to rent or 1.25m THB (42,000 USD) to purchase. We would like to rent it until we can afford to purchase one on a permanent basis.

We have some other rescued animals including primates and elephants that are benefiting from laser therapy technology and we are sure we will have future patients who will benefit from this relatively knew technology. Laser therapy is a great non-invasive way that we can reduce pain, inflammation, and speed the healing process.
