This is a terrible act of cruelty.

A pregnant female macaque recently arrived at WFFT with a bullet in her spine. Our veterinary team has removed the bullet, but as she is in the late stages of pregnancy, we must monitor her very closely to see if she can deliver on her own, given that we don’t know if she will recover from the damage caused by the bullet.

Her name is Nam Phon, and we’ll do everything we can for her and her baby. No animal deserves to be intentionally harmed like this. It is only because of WFFT supporters like you that Nam Phon and her baby gets this second chance. Please give today, and contribute towards their care and help us try and save them.
