This young male was rescued after being electrocuted by overhead wires. Sadly, this is not an uncommon occurrence for long-tailed macaques who try to survive in urban areas. 

The next few days will be critical as we try to save his life and also his limbs. Electrocution can cause enormous tissue and muscle damage to limbs and can eventually require amputation. Furthermore, we also discovered he has a malformed hand.
