Emergency Treatment for Forest Fire Victim

(Scroll down for English) เมื่อวานนี้ทางทีม สัตว์เเพทย์ WFFT ได้มีคนเเจ้งมาว่า เจอนางอายได้รับบาดเจ็บอยู่บนต้นไม้ ในจังหวัดเพชรบุรีห่างจาก WFFT 20 นาที ทางสัตว์เเพทย์ได้วินิจฉัยว่าเธอได้รับเเผลไฟไหม้ บริเวณ หลังหัว หลังคอ เเละมือทั้ง2ข้าง คาดว่ามาจากไฟป่าที่เกิดขึ้นจากบริเวณใกล้เคียง ขณะนี้ประเทศไทยกำลังประสบปัญหาฤดูแล้งที่ร้อนผิดปกติเเละยังมีไฟป่าทั่วประเทศ ไฟป่าไม่เพียง แต่ทำลายป่าเเต่ยังทำให้ชีวิตมนุษย์ตกอยู่ในความเสี่ยงเเละยังฆ่าสัตว์ป่าอีกมากมาย เบื้องต้นทางทีมสัตว์เเพทย์ได้ทำเเผล ล้างเเผล ทายาฆ่าเชื้อเเละป้อนยาเพื่อลดการอักเสบ ด้วยการดูเเลอย่างใกล้ชิดทุกวันจากทีมสัตว์เเพทย์เราหวังว่าเธอจะกลับมาหายดีในไม่ช้า เราจะแจ้งให้คุณทราบถึงความคืบหน้าของเธอ!

Yesterday the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Team were called to rescue Bengal Slow Loris that had been seeking refuge in a tree after being burnt in a forest fire. The team headed out to rescue the loris, which was found 20 minutes from the rescue centre. The WFFT Vet Team found she had numerous burn wounds around her head and her hands were badly burned. Her wounds were cleaned and she was given medicine to reduce inflammation. Thailand is experiencing an unusually hot dry season, with forest fires throughout the country. Forest fires not only decimate forests and put human lives at risk they also kill many wild animals. With a daily treatment we hope she will get back on her feet soon. We will keep updated on her progress.
