‘Big Brother’ the long-tailed macaque returns home

‘Big Brother’ the adult male long-tailed macaque (Macaca fascicularis) that had a serious arm injury has made a full recovery and been returned home. He has spent a few months at the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Centre to allow his wounds to mend. The other members of his troop warmly welcomed his return. This is great outcome for this special macaque. The younger macaque that was rescued at the same time had sustained worse injuries caused by burns from power lines, he has been named ‘Jupiter’. An update on Jupiter will follow this afternoon. วันนี้บิ๊กบราเทอร์ ได้กลับบ้านที่บางขุนเทียนแล้ว หลังจากที่เขาได้รับบาดเจ็บสาหัสจากการต่อสู้แย่งความเป็นจ่าฝูง ตอนนี้พี่บิ๊กหายดีแล้ว กลับถิ่นเดิมด้วยสายตาและท่าทางที่น่าเกรงขามเช่นเคย จนทำใหพี่บิ๊กมีลูกสมุนทันทีที่ไปถึง แค่นี้เราก็วางใจได้แล้วว่าเขาสามารถกลับเข้าฝูงได้อย่างปลอดภัยค่ะ
