The WFFT tree nursery is still one of our ongoing projects and with only local tree species (Central and Southern Thailand species) being raised we have a great assortment of indigenous tree species available for forest rehabilitation. For this reason the Head of Kaengkrachan National Park, Thailand’s biggest National Park, has asked WFFT to help with the supply of these trees and volunteers to plant these trees in areas where local communities have encroached in the past. WFFT supplied 3,000 trees on this site and was happy lend a hand digging holes and plant the trees!
