Halio School Hua Hin join us for an Educational Tour of WFFT

A group from Halio International School. joined us from Hua Hin to spend Friday afternoon in our Rescue Centre. The group of 22 young students enjoyed exploring the facilities with a guided tour to gain an insight to the work that we do here and to meet our rescued animals. We invite many school groups to learn about our foundation as we believe that education is the key to change and explaining to the younger generations about animal welfare, abuse and captive environments is very beneficial to both human and animal. Throughout the day, the students were given a brief history of the Rescue Centre through an introductory short visual documentary followed by a spoken welcome. Continuing around the pathways and enclosures, stories of the rescued animals including their lives before rescue where they lived in horrific conditions and then after rescue here at WFFT were discussed with the children, giving them the opportunity to reflect and ask and questions they may have had. Thank you ‘Halio School’ for kind care for animals and for visiting us (and sharing these great images)!
