Reflecting on 2023: a truly monumental year for WFFT, marked by amazing collaborations and our largest rescue effort yet. There is much to do in 2024, and we have big plans to create a better world for injured, exploited, and abused wildlife in Thailand.
Rescued Wild Pig Surgery
Last week we rescued a family of wild pigs from central Bangkok. The adult female pig who has now been named ‘Bussaba’ which means flower in English, she had numerous injuries which required veterinary treatment, so the day after her arrival the WFFT Vet Team sedated her and treated her numerous injuries. Along with her piglets she is now settled well into her large opne field enclosure at the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Centre. See the rescue story here bit.ly/1UyRCWI
