January 2023 Highlights
Welcome to your first WFFT update of 2023! We are very pleased to share just a few January highlights with you, including:
- Releasing an endangered long-tailed macaque back to the wild
- Rescuing a green iguana
- Some of our gibbons moved to new island homes
- Our newest elephant rescue, Mae Moey, moved into her new enclosure and started to make friends with some of our residents
- Luang, an infant macaque who was rescued after being rejected by his mother, was introduced to another rescue named Simba.
