We are proud to announce the successful rescue of three tigers and two leopards in what stands as the largest big cat rescue mission ever undertaken by an NGO in Thailand.
Pin’s health check showed a deformed spine
The x-rays sadly show that Pin’s spine is deformed.
As Pin has got stronger, our vet team recently sedated her to do a thorough health check. The x-rays revealed that she has an overgrown bone in her spine, which explains the way she walks. We are in discussion with specialist vets to formulate a long-term plan for her care.
The abscess and wounds in her mouth have decreased and are healing well. Her blood results showed that she is mildly anaemic.
We are pleased she is with us now, and we can try to make her as happy and comfortable as possible.
