WFFT is home to 17 rescued Oriental small-clawed otters. Although it is illegal to trade otters, and they are a protected species in Thailand, the otter trade still sadly exists. This ruthless trade is pushing these endangered species to extinction.
WFFT is looking for volunteers

WFFT is desperately seeking volunteers to come and help us take care of our 700+ rescued animals. Volunteers help prepare food, feed our rescued wildlife, make enrichment, clean enclosures and much more. Please email volunteer@wfft.org for more information. Food and accommodation are provided.
Back to the wild – Brahminy Kite

A member of the public contacted us about this bird of prey who was found injured and weak in a garden. The WFFT team immediately went to pick him up, so he could receive life-saving treatment at our wildlife hospital.
Rescued – Bengal Slow Loris

A few days ago a member of the public found a Bengal slow loris in their garden and contacted us for help. The team headed out to rescue the loris. After the initial health check it appears that the loris had sustained burns to his hind limbs and puncture wounds from a domestic dog or cat attack.
RELEASED – Kong Returns Home

Meet Kong, a juvenile Long-tailed macaque who was rescued 3 weeks ago. Some concerned locals had found Kong on the floor. He was rushed back to the WFFT Wildlife Hospital for emergency treatment.
RESCUED – 2 Orphans Arrive in 1 Day – Part 2 – Tulip

On Friday we welcomed two very young infant primates. Secondly we will introduce you to Tulip. Tulip is a Bengal slow loris. She was found in a garden around 10km from the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Centre.

Yesterday we welcomed two very young infant primates. Firstly we will introduce you to Nam Sai. Nam Sai is a Long-tailed macaque that is 3-4 months old.
Little Boy Bou Bou Arrives at WFFT

Meet Bou Bou the juvenile Northern pig-tailed macaque. Bou Bou arrived at WFFT last week after being handed over by his owner who could no longer take care of him.

Meet Wendee, an endangered primate that arrived at WFFT yesterday evening. Wendee is a dusky langur, a species recently reclassified by the IUCN Redlist as an endangered species. She was found injured in a forested area close to a human settlement.

Two Coconut Monkeys Rescued in 1 week – Part 2 – Odd

Meet ‘Odd’ a 12-year-old Northern Pig-tailed Macaque the second ex-coconut monkey to arrived at WFFT last week. He had been kept as a coconut monkey most of his life and had finally decided he had had enough of the abuse, he started attacking his owner, causing injuries to numerous people.
