LWRC – Teenage girl raises funds for new jackal enclosure!

Like most animal welfare organisations, our centre relies on the help and support of people who believe in our cause. We are grateful for all our supporters but receiving help from younger generations is even more special to us, as these young people are the ones who will create the future for wildlife and nature conservation.

Sara and her family have been living in Lao for many years now and after visiting our centre last November Sara decided she wanted to help. Over the past few months she has been collecting some donations for a new Jackal enclosure.

We are planning to create an open field in the forested area on the rescue center
property where these two beautiful jackals can roam freely. By using a crowdfunding site called READYFOR, she managed to collect a little more then what she imagined.

We would like to thank Sara, her mother and all donors for their support. And we will update you soon on the construction progress!
