Laos Wildlife Rescue Centre – JOB OPENING!!!

For a challenging project in Lao PDR, 60KM from the capital, we are looking to recruit the perfect candidate to complete our team as our new volunteer coordinator! (Please only reply if you match the requirements). VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR – Male or Female, minimum age 21 years old. Previous experience as volunteer or staff member at a wildlife rescue centre facility, team player, multi tasker, out of the box thinker, excellent written and verbal English language skills, being able to speak multiple languages or Thai/Lao is an advantage. Minimum commitment of 1 year, willing to work hard, accepting basic living conditions. Laos Wildlife Rescue Centre will enter their 3rd operating year I. July 2017. The project is a collaboration between WFFT, Lao Zoo and the Lao government. The “Lao National zoo” is being changed and upgraded to establish the first multi species wildlife rescue centre of the country. Our volunteer program is key to our success and we are now looking for an individual who feels challenged to coordinate our program. Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to managing the daily schedules of the volunteers, animal enrichment schedules, booking sheets and housekeeping and transfer services for volunteers. A lot of construction work is involved too so be sure you know your way around construction tools! Minimum commitment of 1 year to start at the beginning of May 2017. Accommodation and meals provided on site. A monthly salary will be included with costs of work and stay permit arranged by the employer.
