We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our current team of Volunteer Coordinators here at the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Centre and Elephant Refuge. The successful applicant will be coordinating and supervising the day-to-day work of elephant volunteers and the day-to-day care of the WFFT Elephant Herd. The WFFT Elephant Refuge currently houses 25 rescued elephants ranging in age from 7 to 75-years-old. All the elephants in our care have come from abusive pasts. Please note that this position is a fast paced and physically demanding. You will be working with a team of Thai Mahouts/Elephant Caretakers and a group of 20-30 volunteers.

Job Description: Main Responsibilities
• Supervision the daily routines of Elephant Refuge volunteers
• Coordinating and supervising various volunteer projects
• Welcoming new volunteers and conducting volunteer inductions
Desired Skills/Qualities
• Volunteer/staff management experience
• A good command of spoken and written English, knowledge of Thai language would be an advantage
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience volunteering or working with rescued wildlife particularly elephants
• A love of wildlife and a well-rounded interest in animal welfare and wildlife conservation

เรากำลังมองหาผู้ที่มีความสนใจเข้าร่วมทีมดูแลอาสาสมัครช่วยเหลือช้าง หน้าที่รับผิดชอบหลักของหัวหน้าฯ คือการดูแลช้าง ประสานงานระหว่างอาสาสมัครและควาญช้างในแต่ละวัน ทำงานร่วมกับทีมควาญช้างและอาสาสมัครประมาณ 25-30 คน ตำแหน่งงานนี้จึงต้องการผู้สมัครที่มีความแข็งแรง คล่องแคล่ว พร้อมสำหรับงานกลางแจ้ง ณ ปัจจุบัน ทางศูนย์ ฯ มีช้างในความดูแลทั้งหมด 25 เชือก ช่วงอายุระหว่าง 7-75 ปี ซึ่งศูนย์ช่วยเหลือช้างมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า ช่วยเหลือช้างที่ในอดีตเคยถูกทำร้าย เจ็บป่วย และเคยถูกใช้งานในอุตสาหกรรมต่าง ๆ และช่วยให้ช้างได้มีโอกาสดำรงชีวิตอยู่ในสถานที่ที่มีสภาพแวดล้อมใกล้เคียงกับในธรรมชาติมากที่สุดเท่าที่จะสามารถทำได้

หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ:
• ประสานงาน ตรวจตรา ดูแลงานโปรเจคต่าง ๆ ที่อาสาสมัครได้รับมอบหมายในแต่ละวัน
• ต้อนรับอาสาสมัครเข้าใหม่และแนะนำข้อปฏิบัติอาสาฯ

คุณสมบัติเฉพาะตำแหน่ง
• มีประสบการณ์ด้านการประสานงานพนักงาน/อาสาสมัคร
• สามารถใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในการสื่อสารทั้ง พูด และเขียนได้เป็นอย่างดี (จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ)
• สามารถทำงานร่วมกับทีมได้ดี
• สามารถทำงานในสภาวะความกดดันได้ดี • เคยมีประสบการณ์การทำงานอาสาสมัครหรือทำงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการช่วยเหลือสัตว์ป่า โดยเฉพาะช้าง • รักสัตว์ป่า มีความสนใจด้านการอนุรักษ์สัตว์ป่า และสวัสดิภาพสัตว์
• สามารถเริ่มงานได้ทันที
